My name is Mikołaj Kamler.
I’m a freelance illustrator living and working in Warsaw, Poland. Since graduating from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (1995) I have been publishing my work mostly in polish children’s books and magazines.
I create my illustrations using a combination of traditional techniques – pencil, pen, watercolour and the like – and digital tools (Photoshop, Illustrator and ArtRage). Apart from static drawings, I also make short animations using – for the most part – AfterEffects. I also have some experience with website design.
I speak fluently French and English ( C2 level ), I am also proficient in German – and Polish of course (which is my native language).
Since 2018 I am teaching illlustration and animation - in both Polish and English - at the Vistula University in Warsaw.
